Black Tiger Prawn

Black tiger prawns (Penaeus Monodon) are prized around the world for their large size and tender flesh. Many consumers, especially in the hotel, restaurant, and catering sector thus prefer black tiger. Vietnam produces most of its black tiger prawns in the expansive mangrove forests of Ca Mau province. There, the changing of the tides naturally brings food and nutrients into the prawn’s habitat and enables culturing without any additives, just as if the prawns were raised in the ocean nearby. Our black tiger producers follow natural farming practices which protect both the prawns and the surrounding mangrove forests for years to come.
